Subject: Graduate programs that are researching service learning

Dear friends
I received so many requests for a copy of the information I received about graduate programs that are researching service learning that I decided to post a summary of my responses to the list.

Here they are in no particular order:

Mankato State in Minnesota - M.Ed
University of Colorado in Boulder - Professor Richard Kraft
International Partnership for Service Learning - MA - through Roehampton
Institute at the University of Surrey, England
Univ. of Mass - Boston
SUNY - Buffalo
Howard Univ
Univ of MN - Institute of Public Affairs
Seattle Univ - Masters in Teaching
North Carolina State Univeristy - Dept. of Ed
Univ of Iowa - Professor Rahima Wade
Univ of Maryland - College Park - Barb Jacoby
Univ of Michigan
Providence College - Feinstein Institue of Public Service - in RI
Vanderbilt - Peabody School
Rutgers Univ
Brown Univ
Stanford
Allegheny University of the Health Sciences' School of Public Health

Additional advice that I received included looking at schools that have a strong service learning component. Another suggestion was to contact the authors of books and articles that I like through e-mail. Most books and articles now list the author's e-mail address.

Thanks to everyone who responsed.
