BUILDING A STRONG COMMUNITY
BUILDING A STRONGER COUNTRY
Trinity College, Hartford, CT
October 31-November 2,
2003
Facing another year of budget shortfalls and funding cuts
to vital programs, emergency service providers find themselves unable to fill
the gap between government assistance and charitable contributions. Hunger
and homelessness in America and abroad has drastically increased over the last
two decades and is sharply escalating. We must take action now to address
immediate needs and create the impetus for lasting systemic change to
permanently end hunger and homelessness. By attending the conference, you
will learn the skills necessary to build a strong community and a stronger
country.
This year’s conference highlights include more than 60 exciting
workshops, issue-based panel discussions, the Oxfam Hunger Banquet, the Faces of
Homelessness Panel, a service plunge in Hartford, political actions and
more…..
Registration for the conference has already begun. So, visit
