EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

INDIANA CAMPUS COMPACT

 

Indiana Campus Compact seeks a dynamic leader to serve as Executive Director of this statewide network of thirty colleges and universities.  Indiana Campus Compact is committed to promoting a renewed vision of colleges and universities as active and involved members of their communities, and works closely with college presidents, faculty, administrators, students, and community leaders to improve the quality of teaching and learning, support the development of Indiana’s communities, promote increased civic responsibility, and prepare students for service to society.

 

The Executive Director is responsible for:

• developing and maintaining external relations;
• cultivating, securing, and maintaining grants and gifts;
• cultivating and promoting long-range vision;
• engaging college presidents as leaders of community service and service learning on their campuses and in the state;
• evaluating and continuously improving programs; and
• providing general oversight of the ongoing operations of Indiana Campus Compact.

 

Qualified candidates will have:

• at least four years leadership experience in higher education;
• demonstrated commitment to service learning;
• demonstrated success in fund raising initiatives;
• experience with the financial and overall operations of nonprofit and/or educational organizations, including experience managing private and federal grants; and
• a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree or comparable experience.

 

Indiana Campus Compact seeks a leader with strong oral and written communication skills who is comfortable working collaboratively with college presidents, and community, public, and corporate leaders.
