Dear Roberta, Thank you for meeting with us. We were able to find a computer on the second floor. Perhaps you could send a message like the following or edit it so that it reads appropriately for your colleagues in the field. Thank you again for meeting with us and we look forward to creating a working relationship with Denison. Thomas White & Penelope Kilpatrick A service learning opportunity exists at a unique non-profit organization in Winston-Salem, N.Carolina. It provides free room, board, and tuition to accepted students. That's right, FREE! The focus of the learning opportunity is to expand one's capacity to serve. It is an experimental school which accepts students of all ages, all faiths, and those of no faith. The oldest incoming student is 74. It is an environment that is geared to bring out the best in all of us. Check out the web site at www.ufhg.org. The premier program is for one year. The school is willing to work with colleges for shorter times, such as a six month semester or 15 week service/learning stint. Students attend class during the mornings and do their service at a restaurant (at which all profits go to charities), and are involved in other service projects on campus. Entrepreneurship is stressed. The school's name is the University for the Study of Human Goodness and Creative Group Work located in Winston-Salem, NC. It is a non-accredited experimental school with limited enrollment, and the non-profit has received national recognition for its innovative approach to service.
