Re: Retaliate with love

A wise mentor once told me, "Sometimes it's necessary to be violent outside
of yourself, in order to restore the peace within yourself."  I don't
necessarily know if that's appropriate advice in this case or not, but I
think it explains our desire as a country for retaliation.  We are all just
trying to restore the peace within us, the sense of security that was
diminished as a result of yesterday's atrocities.
