Re: Community Service'Service Learning Awards?

A bunch of schools have actually used my Soul of a Citizen book as a way of
thanking students and inspiring them further, especially at year-end award
ceremonies. Most of you folks know about it, but you can get more info at
www.soulofacitizen.org and my publisher has pretty good bulk terms of about
$9.00 per book. I've also seen departments nominate their favorite students
involved in service projects and buy them books that way...

Hi Patrice,
When I was at Bowling Green State University, several other instructors and
I solicited donations (in the form of coupons, products, gift certificates,
etc.) from area business to give to students who did community action
projects. The students loved it because then they were able to save money
when going out to restaurants or shopping.

Greetings All!
I am writing to ask if anyone had any ideas for an award idea for
Service-learning and or Community Service to present to individuals that
want to do service?
