Dear Friends,
The United Nations "Special Session on
Children" will be held from 19-21
September 2001 at the United
Nations in New York. It will bring together
government leaders
and Heads of State, NGOs, children's advocates and
young people
themselves from all over the world. The UN General Assembly
dedicated
to the children and adolescents of the world requests you
to
join the Global Movement for Children through pledging support
for the "Say Yes for Children campaign." You will find the link, "Say

When
you click the link, "Say Yes for Children Campaign" you will
be
asked to choose three issues facing children (from a list of
ten) in your
country that you feel need immediate attention. Your
pledge as well pledges of others around the world will be presented
to the world leaders at this
special session on children in New
York.
