A good piece for your purposes is an article by Edward Zlotkowski
titled [something like] 'Service-Learning in the Academy: A New Voice
at the Table? in Change, January 1996. The cover promo is something
like 'Does service-learning have a future?'. The article deals with
some of the adjustment he thinks need to occur if service-learning is
to become institutionalized in higher education.
