We are attempting to pull together the first-ever Community Service
Council at the University of Southern Mississippi. I'm wondering if any
of you have experience getting one started and keeping it active.
I will be working with our AmeriCorps members to design an application
process, as well as roles and responsibilities. Our initial idea is that
the council will serve as the student advisory board to our office,
coordinate a campus wide service event each semester and help get the
word out about our program.
Any ideas, suggestions or materials would be greatly appreciated!
