The application deadline for the National SEAMS Faculty Institute,
scheduled for March 6-8 at Case Western Reserve University, has been
extended until December 15th. However, institutions requesting scholarship
consideration are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Applications that include a request for scholarship support will be
forwarded to the faculty selection committee as soon as they are received.
Also, please note that "Version 1.1" of the National SEAMS Faculty
Institute application went out with the wrong year (1997 as opposed to
1998) on the application.
The date on the COVER PAGE which accompanies the application is correct.
If you received a copy of the application at the CNS/LSHE Project Director's
Meeting, or requested one by phone or e-mail before today, you may have
received -- or are about to receive -- "Version 1.1." Please be sure to
check the application page (with the LSHE logo) for the correct date and
change it, if necessary, BEFORE distributing it to faculty.
