Hi!
I just finished my "fair" season and had mixed results. I set up
volunteer fairs for 5 colleges in eastern PA.
I was wondering if any schools do fairs that are out of the ordinary,
well attended, creatively located, or just really solid campus events.
Do any of you use raffles or games to entice students to come? Have you
had a good responce from faculty who encourage/require their classes to go?
Our fairs consistanly draw about 30 agencies representing a broad variety
of volunteer opportunities. We shortened them to about 2 hours and cut
lunch to a lite refreshment instead. Now the only problem is drawing
students!
I would appreciate any suggestions you have.
