The Learning Institute for Nonprofit Organizations is offering a free
satellite program titled, "State of the Nonprofit Sector" on December 10
from 12:30 - 3:30 Central Daylight Savings time. This program is available
free of charge to any downlink site in the continental U.S. that has a
"steerable" satellite dish capable of receiving a Ku band signal, Internet
access, and an e-mail address. This program will feature highlights from the
KPMG Peat Marwick study titled, "Organizations Serving the Public:
Transformation to the 21st Century". This report argues that many nonprofit
organizations, government agencies, colleges and universities could cease to
exist in the early part of the next century. For more information on this
