reflective writing assessment

I'm looking for a way to assess growth in reflective writing.  I am currently 
trying a coding scheme based on the work of Mezirow.  I'm not sure I am 
satisfied with it.  Does anyone have any rubric or other instruments I might 
try?  I would like to end up with quantitative results.
