Hi Anna: Eastern Michigan University has a FIPSE grant that is
deseminating its model for fauclty development to six univeristies. One
of their charges is to work with other institutions of higher education
in their regions. One is the University of Mississippi. The others are
the University of Idaho, Central Washington University, University of
Vermont, Catholic University of America, and Tulane University. This
project is called "A Sustainable Model for Academic Service-Learning."
You can read more about it on our web site at [www.asl@emich.edu]. Or you
can call any of us for more information and the names of contact persons
at each university. We would like to help you and other faculty with the
cntent and model we have developed. Let us know if we can help. Dale
Rice, Director, Office of Academic Service-Learning, EMU. 734-487-6570.
