Hello, this is a request forwarded by one of our faculty:
Can you recommend a "service-learning book" that meets the following criteria:
1. Can serve as a unifying text for cross-disciplinary frsit year seminars
2. Can relate to many types or arenas of service expreiences
2. Is not too long (100 pages or less?)
3. Will prepare or inspire students for service-learning expeiences
We thought of excepts from "Soul of a Citizen", something by Robert Coles, or
perhaps excerpts from "Service-Learning" by Stanton, Giles, and Cruz
... can you share other ideas?
Thank you.
