Hello, my name is Michelle K. Verdiguel and I am a
student assistant at the Service Learning Center at St. Mary's University.
Judy Geelhoed, Director of Service Learning, and myself are currently putting
forth a proposal for faculty grants and incentives for those faculty who are
incorporating service-learning components in their courses. In the
meantime, however, we are wanting to recognize faculty who are using
service-learning in the classroom and are looking for creative ways of doing
so. If you could please reply with any creative ways you have recognized
outstanding faculty and staff in non-monetary ways, it would greatly be
