Disaster-community education programs

Service Learning members,

Hi, I was asked if I could assist with locating information regarding
"disaster community education programs", which involve youth or elderly as
instructors.

I was wondering if anyone had any information, resources, or best practices
that you could share with me.

THE MOHAWK VALLEY REGIONAL LEARN AND SERVE NETWORK is comprised of schools
and community based organizations that actively promote service learning
programs in the Mohawk Valley region.  The network tries to increase
awareness of current community service learning programs and to assist other
agencies in expanding and beginning programs that focus on the principles of
service learning.
