workplace communication

Last week I sent a request for ideas on communication skills for volunteer 
working with middle school kids. I got great responses - thanks!

Now, I have a different request:
I have been asked to develop a training for the management team at a local 
business.  They all run different departments - HR, PR, finance, etc.  This 
team of 6 people needs to work on their communication skills.  Do any of you 
have information on communication skills, including research and activities, 
that deal with workplace communication.  In this case, there are many 
"chiefs", but they just aren't communicating well.

Any help that you can offer would be great.
