Pre-Orientation Leadership/Service Programs?

Hi,

We're in the planning stages of implimenting a  Pre-Orientation
Leadership/Service Program for first-year students.  The program would run
during the week before classes begin, and we anticipate about 20
participants during the pilot year.  I'd be interested in hearing what other
schools do--costs involved, program structure, staff training, challenges.
