Coordinator/Volunteer Trainers
Two Positions:
New York City Pleasantville, NY
Assists the Associate Director with the management of the
VIA Pace office. Acts as a liaison with community agencies;
recruits, trains, and monitors student volunteers; plans and
coordinates various VIA Pace activities and events.
Additional responsibilities: Works with faculty to develop and
implement service-learning courses; conducts faculty development
workshops in service-learning; conducts training and reflection
sessions and develops training materials for student volunteers.
Assists in writing reports, grants, and the VIA Pace newsletter.
Specific experience or background: Graduate degree required; Ph.D.
preferred. College teaching experience. Evidence of excellent
organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; grant-
writing and administrative experience helpful
