I teach currently in the University of Michigan Business School and have
been given the go-ahead to develop[ a new course for MBAs on the
"Intersection between Business and the Community", looking at models of
Private/ Public partnerships for community sustainability.
I would like to target this not only to MBA students who would like to
work in the public sector, but more so to students who will return to
their private sector lives, but who still wish to involve themselves
through their companies with community sustainability. Ideally I would
like to study real live models of this type of work, and get a "live" case
within our community to work on.
Any ideas? Sample courses at your institutions? Books/ articles/ faculty
to seek out?
Many thanks!
