The U.S. Department of Education's Regional Educational Laboratories
will be conducting 16 America Reads Training Conferences.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Teams of trainers and coordinators of school,
community, college/university partnerships involved in or planning to
implement quality reading tutorial programs.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Research-based principles of good reading
instruction, tutor management and support, model programs and best
practices, effective tutor training, developing and maintaining
tutorial partnerships.
