I need some input on how other universities determine whether a course
activity is truly service-learning or simply experiential learning. I am
finding that some faculty are having students do all kinds of activities in
the community that aren't service-learning, but claiming that it is.
Consequently, there is a need to put in writing some form of criteria for
determining what is service-learning and what is not. Any suggestions or
resources? Your help would be appreciated.
