Director of Student Activities
Adrian College seeks applications and nominations for the position of Director of Student Activities.
Responsibilities: The Director provides leadership in the areas of volunteerism, student leadership development, student activities and organizations, parent programs, commuter programs and annual events. The Director supervises a graduate student intern, secretary, and student assistants. This is a twelve-month appointment with full benefits.
The College: Adrian College, founded in 1859, is a four-year liberal arts college offering both associate and bachelor's degrees. Associated with the United Methodist Church, the College enrolls approximately 1,000 students. Located in Adrian, Michigan, a city with a population of about 22,000, the College enjoys a park-like campus within the city limits. Adrian has strong public schools, an active performing arts program and attractive property values. The metropolitan areas of Toledo, Ohio and Ann Arbor, Michigan are both within a forty-five minute drive.
Requirements: A master's degree in student personnel or related area is required. A minimum of two years full-time experience in student affairs work is required with volunteer programming and student activities experience highly preferred.
