Dear National Service Colleague:
As most of you know, this year the Corporation for National Service is a
partner with the Points of Light Foundation in the National Community Service
Conference, which will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, from June 27 -
30. A team of people from both organizations has worked to develop workshops
and plenary sessions that should be informative and inspirational. Many
people from the national service family will be featured presenters.
The conference brochure including the registration form, should be arriving
to you shortly, if it has not already. I encourage you to review it
carefully and consider coming to the conference. All national service
programs qualify for the early bird registration rate of $350.00, but your
registration must be postmarked by May l5 to receive this rate. We are also
planning networking and information sessions for the national service family,
and your early registration (make sure that you note your program
affiliation) will help to guide our planning.
