Attention folks with unpaid internships:
My apologies for any cross posting!
I am looking for any legal documents that you have the employer or
student sign regarding an unpaid internship. Specifically, documents
with hold harmless statements, releases of workman's compensation
provision, etc. Please send any documents you have. If you prefer, I
will send you an SASE.
Also if your students are not covered by workman's compensation are you
purchasing insurance on their behalf or getting riders to existing
policies? If you have purchased insurance what company are you working
with and what is the cost?
