emotional intelligence and anti-racist frameworks

My name is Begum, and am currently a doctoral student at the 
University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.  I will be 
conducting research in service-learning, and would like to know if 
anyone has any information on any work done in the areas of:
- service-learning and impact on emotional intelligence
- any service-learning research using anti-racist pedagogies or frameworks
