Active Learning in Higher Education

Active Learning in Higher Education is the new journal of the Institute for
Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (ILT). It is an international,
refereed publication. The journal is a benefit for ILT members but is also
available by subscription to non-members. 
The ILT is a membership organisation open to all those engaged in teaching
and the support of learning in higher education, who share the objective of
improving the status of teaching and learning support as professional
activity. As the journal of the Institute, Active Learning in Higher
Education supports this mission and is devoted to all aspects of
development, innovation and good practice in higher education, including the
use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs). The journal seeks
to share practitioner experience through case studies, action research
reports and accounts of changing practice and theoretical perspectives.
Active Learning in Higher Education embraces academic practice across all
curriculum areas in higher education.

Active Learning in Higher Education is for
· Those involved in teaching and the support of learning in higher education
· Higher education managers and others interested in improving academic
practice internationally
· Libraries and resource centres concerned with higher education
