cultural capital

I am an undergrad working on a thesis related to urban Appalachian
communities, and service-learning is an aspect of my area of
study/research/writing.  I am wondering of anyone knows of any resources
that deal explicitly with building cultural capital in communities.  I
have found lots of resources that deal with social capital, but not
