Re: S-L and rural community dev

The Learn and Serve America National Service-Learning Clearinghouse has put
together a resource list on the topic of rural service-learning that can be
found at http://umn.edu/~serve/res/faqs/rural.htm. We also have a database
of
program descriptions you can search by visiting http://umn.edu/~serve
(choose
"Databases" from our main menu, then select "Programs.") 373 K-12 programs
appear when you search for programs in a rural setting, and 3 higher ed
programs
appear when you perform that search.
I hope this information is helpful!
