AAHE Assessment Conference 2000--and a call for help
Please excuse cross-postings.
There is still time to register for the American Association for Higher
Education's Assessment Conference 2000, to be held on June 14-18 in
Charlotte, North Carolina. With over 250 sessions and roughly 1500
participants, this is America's largest gathering of assessment
practitioners and stakeholders--the perfect opportunity for anyone to learn
more about both the basics and latest developments in assessment in higher
education. For more information on the conference, visit AAHE's Web site
(www.aahe.org).
I am in need of people interested in hosting breakfast roundtables--informal
conversations among 10 people on a topic of mutual interest--on Friday and
Saturday mornings. Please let me know if you or a colleague would be
interested in doing this. For a list of roundtable topics, go to AAHE's Web
site, click on "Assessment Conference 2000," then scroll down the left side
to the "Breakfast Roundtables" link. At this point, I need at least one
more facilitator for most of these topics.
I also have a few presenters who need facilitators (people to help
distribute handouts, keep an eye on the clock, etc.). Again, if you or a
colleague would be interested in helping out, please let me know.
Thanks, all! See you in Charlotte.
Linda
