REGISTRATION DEADLINES FOR NG2000

A reminder for those interested in attending the Invisible
College's National Gathering For Service-Learning Educators, June 8-11,
2000, at Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
******************************************************************

There is still time to register for the National Gathering, "Bridging the
Gap: Service-Learning to Social Justice;" however, the deadlines for
campus housing reservations are fast approaching--in order to provide
Housing Services and our caterers with final counts, we must receive all
registrations by MAY 19!  

If you would like to register for the Gathering but will be unable to get
a check from your university or sponsoring institution by the May 19
deadline, please fill out a pre-registration form to secure your space in
the dorms and workshops.  Pre-registration and registration forms are
available on the National Gathering website at:

THURSDAY, JUNE 8:
9:30-4 p.m.- Workshops (see

5- 8 p.m. - Opening plenary and dinner, learning circle formation

FRIDAY, JUNE 9:
7:30-9 a.m. - Poster sessions, breakfast
9 - 4 p.m. - Learning Circles I
6 p.m. - Community Dinner at Shiloh Baptist Church 

SATURDAY, JUNE 10:
7:30-9 a.m. - Poster sessions, breakfast
9 - lunch - Learning Circles II
Evening of fun in Washington D.C.!

SUNDAY, JUNE 11:
Brunch
Spirituality Session (optional)
Learning Circle wrap-up and reports/ Closing meeting
