Michelle,

In addition to the helpful suggestions from Ann Treacy, check out our
service learning website www.gseis.ucla.edu/slc/ and click on Evaluation
and Assessment. You will find an annotated bibliography of some resources.
There may be some that interest you, especially since some of them deal
specifically with service learning. Also, there is a list of websites that
you might want to look into. Good luck! Elaine Ikeda

Hi,

I am coordinating a new community based service learning program in Staten
Island, NY. Our participants ages range from 10 -22 years old. As part of
the program, our participants signed up to participate in different team
projects. The research team was developed so that young people are trained
to able to conduct assessment surveys, develop resource manuals and publish
reports. I wanted to know if anyone has any curriculum ideas or direct me to
any materials that would help me teach the team about the wonderful world of
research. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
