Youth Profiles
As part of Youth Service America=B9s media strategy, we are searching =
for 11 young people who will be participating in National Youth =
Service Day projects. We have created a list of youth profiles (6 to =
30 years of age) that will be shared with the national media. They =
will appear as part of our press package profiling the powerful theme =
of =B3Youth serving Youth.=B2

-PROFILE STORIES-
1. A young person who first participated in service through a past =
National Youth Service Day, then continued their service and =
volunteering activities throughout their adolescence.
2. A young person who participated in National Youth Service Day, =
then went on to become a social entrepreneur, founder, or CEO of a =
service-based organization.
3. A young person who is designing and leading a service project for =
National Youth Service Day 1998.
4. An AmeriCorps member who serves as a catalyst for other young =
people to volunteer for National Youth Service Day.
5. A young person who is participating in National Youth Service Day =
through a Volunteer Center service project.
6. A young person who is creating new opportunities for other young =
people to volunteer for National Youth Service Day.
7. A young person who serves as a role model or mentor to other =
youth.
8. A young person who is helping other youth in developing =
marketable skills through an effective education.
9. A young person who is providing other youth with safe places and =
structured activities during non-school hours.
10. A young person who is helping other youth with a healthy start =
and a healthy future.
11. A young person who is using the Internet as a valuable resource =
or entry point to the world of service and volunteering.
