Graduate Intern position at Trinity College Hartford

Graduate Intern, The Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement
The Office of Community Learning and Civic Engagement has an immediate
full-time, full-year opening for a Graduate Intern who will assist the Director
in fostering a culture of service among the student body of Trinity, and
working with the Hartford community to develop and maintain strong programs and
effective student-community partnerships. Responsibilities include planning
and implementing annual and one-time community service projects, maintaining
and updating a database of all community service programs and participants, and
serving as office and operations manager.
Bachelor's Degree required. Must have good organizational skills, the ability
to work both independently and as a team player, be well organized and detail
oriented. Also required are demonstrated commitment to, and experience in,
community service, as well as good interpersonal, written and oral
communications skills.
Compensation for the position will be $1500/month, with tuition remission for
graduate courses at Trinity and/or one course per semester at participating
institutions in the exchange program available through the Greater Hartford
Consortium of Higher Education. Also included is student health insurance
fully paid by the College (for those matriculated in a graduate program),
on-campus housing, and 10 meals/week on the College food service meal plan when
classes are in session.
