Juror Nominees Requested: Brock International Prize in Education
23 March 2003 20:41 UTC
Dear Experiential Educators:
I have received a request from the Chair of the Executive Committee for the
Brock International Prize in Education for nominees for the jury to
determine the winner of this prize. The jurors will select the Brock
Laureate, which is the most valuable educational award at present, providing
the recipient with $40,000 plus additional gifts. The committe is looking
for juror nominees who are residents of the U.S. and persons of national
stature involved in education. A juror must have direct management
responsibility for a successful education program, school system, or
college. The objective is to find jurors who have been directly accountable
for the result of a teaching program. If you are such a person or who knows
such a person, could you please email me privately the name and contact
information of that person so I might forward this? It would be nice to have
someone with a background in experiential education to be part of this
process.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Gene Alpert
