Greetings to all the readers of 37dreams.
It has been time to update the website for a while now, but we have
been sidetracked by snowstorms and family commitments. As some of you
know, the latest edition of 37dreams was to be dedicated to
non-violence in the face of impending war. That war has now arrived,
but we have not changed our course. If anything, the content is even
more vital.
This is a special issue of 37dreams. We have stripped down the content
to a few simple writings.
There is a beautiful poem called "The Most Important Word" from our
friend Joseph Ross. Some of you know that Joe has published many of
his poems. This one has not appeared anywhere else.
There is a new poem from Dave Devine entitled "The Devices of
Occupation." It is also completely new for this issue of 37 dreams.
And there is an intensely personal reflection from Dave Platt written
just last night, after attending a candlelight vigil at Providence
College.
That's it.
In a week we will publish the follow-up to this issue, called
"37thoughts." It will feature YOUR reflections. We urge everyone who
reads this to submit a reflection, a thought, a comment, a poem, a
word, a prayer...to the website address of
thirtysevendreams@hotmail.com or to devine@up.edu.
In a week we will update the site with the words of our readers.
Please consider sharing your thoughts.

Peace-
Dave & Dave
