Dear Service-Learning Colleagues,

In 2002 Campus Compact received funding from the Corporation for National
and Community Service to conduct focus groups of campus community service
and financial aid administrators to study campus community service Federal
Work-Study practices. Seventy-eight people representing fifty-two
institutions participated in eight focus groups held May-June, 2002.
These institutions represent public, private, large, small, urban, rural,
2-year and 4-year institutions. The goal of the focus groups was to
collect practitioners  feedback on good practice and challenges for
community service work-study.
