I just received news from a colleague here at the U of MN, Lisa
Albrecht, about the release of her new book that might interest many of
you.

co-edited by Lisa Albrecht, Jacqui Alexander, Sharon Day and Mab
Segrest is officially out!  It's over 700 pages of beautiful words,
photos by 
Margaret Randall, and passionate visions for a just world. Words from 
wonderful women like Angela Davis, Toni Morrison, Audre Lorde, Joanna 
Kadi, Juliana Pegues, Sharon Jaffe, Cheri Moraga, Gloria Anzaldua, 
Angela Bowen, Eden Torres...over 50 writer/activists!

if you go to www.edgework.com, you can order your own copy, and 
support our small feminist press that went all out to make this book 
happen.  (it's $40 at bookstores, but $35 on line...i know, it's 
expensive).

lots of the mpls-st paul contributors will be reading with sharon day 
and i at amazon bookstore on thursday, march 27th, 7 pm.  hope some 
of you can come.
