I was wondering if any grants existed to allow organizations that run outdoor classrooms the opportunity to fund transportation fees for title 1 elementary schools. Due to the money shortage in schools in OKC, teachers who in the past have attended the outdoor classrooms are now either being charged a high fee for school bus transportation or they’re not being allowed to attend at all. I’m researching for a grant that will allow either the outdoor classroom or the nonprofit organization the outdoor classroom is affiliated with the opportunity to use grant funds to assist these schools and teachers in funding their transportation to and from the outdoor classroom.
Any assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
