Service Learning in Accelerated and Distance Programs

I am looking for any research/publications that address
Internet-based learning combined with service learning.  I
also wonder if there are any works that address the
effective use of service learning in accelerated degree
programs for adult learners?

I will be happy to post a compilation of responses if folks
are interested.
