>POSITION SUMMARY
>The Internship and Service Learning Development Specialist will be
>responsible for the recruitment of faculty members into the service

> - Work with community representatives to identify topics and

> - Report on Tulane student progress at internship sites
> - Monitor and conduct weekly site visits
> - Work with SL program evaluators in the evaluation of the quality

>the internship program

>35% - Service Learning Curriculum Development Efforts: Recruit and Assist
>Faculty Members in Implementing Service Learning Courses
> - Consult on the development of service learning courses.
> - Facilitate training of faculty and teaching assistants through
>workshop and special programs
> - Inform and assist faculty with grant opportunities
> - Assist faculty in their research endeavors as it pertains to

>10% - Service Learning Program Supervision
> - Supervise and train program coordinators in developing suitable
