Become a Full Time Member with Hillsborough Reads in the Sunshine State and 
spend the next year in service to your community!

AmeriCorps Hillsborough Reads, an early intervention literacy program in 
Tampa, Florida, is seeking 13 individuals for a year of service in the 
Hillsborough County School District.  As a member with our program, you 
will 
be serving approximately 40 hours a week from September 2000-July 2001.

Benefits:  Members will receive a living allowance of $9,500-$10,000 along 
with health care and child care, if eligible.  Upon completion of the 
program, members will receive a $4,725 education award.  In addition, 
members 
will receive extensive training and leadership development opportunities.

Desired Qualifications include:  Bachelor's Degree or significant 
experience 
in community service, excellent oral and written communication skills, a 
positive attitude and a strong work ethic, an interest in working with 
children and sincere desire to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
