New YES Ambassadors being Sought
Sponsored by the Points of Light Foundation, the Youth Engaged in Service
Ambassador program places community minded young people between the ages of
18-25 in statewide leadership organizations. Through these organizations,
Ambassadors seek to engage young people in service and leadership
opportunities at the state and local level. In 1997-98, the program will
operate in several states, including Washington, Oregon, Texas, Michigan,
Minnesota, Ohio, Montana, Georgia, and Tennessee. Sites are currently
recruiting YES ambassadors. The program year begins September 15, 1997 and
runs through September 14, 1998. For more information, please contact
