might want to check the annotated bibliography Gail Robinson of AACC
(American Association of Community Colleges) prepared for a Handbook called
Disciplinary Pathways to Service Learning, a project of the Campus Compact
National Center for Community Colleges. It is published on-line at
www.mc.maricopa.edu/academic/compact. When you get to this home page click
on publications then the title of the Handbook; from there it's an easy
path to the Table of Contents and Gail's bibliography.--DD
