One of our s-l courses here at Gonzaga is UNIV 201, mostly just
called "the s-l course." The s-l component for this course is a
major component of this course. The faculty have, in the past,
utilized the text "A Service Learning Reader: Reflections and
Perspectives on Service" by Gail Albert (Raleigh, NC: National
Society for Experiential Education). Although I haven't read through
the entire text, I did peruse it during a meeting with the
instructor; it looked like a great text, in fact I'd like to have a
copy on hand for our s-l resource office.
