Tusculum College, Greeneville,Tennessee, is hosting a service-learning
workshop funded by a grant from The Corporation for National Service on
Friday, July 25. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Dwight E Giles, researcher
and practitioner of service-learning from Vanderbilt University.
Other highlights will include a panel of faculty who have integrated
service-learning into various courses, a video presentation of leaders in
service-learning, and an interactive process supporting participants in
planning the introduction or expansion of service-learning in their own
courses or institutions.
