Campus Outreach Opportunity League (COOL)
COOL is a national non-profit organization that promotes and supports
involvement in community service and social change, by helping students
start and strengthen campus-based community service programs. Our mission
is to educate and empower students to strengthen our nation through
community service.
Position: National Programs Associate (available Sept 1)
Resumes accepted through July 25
Responsibilities:
* Assist Nat'l Program Director in implementation and oversight of COOL Programs
* Edit and revise COOL publications
* Provide technical assistance related to COOL Programs
* Assist in development and maintenance of partners for program implementation
* Assist in identifying potential program sponsors and preparation of
related fund-raising materials
* Work with students, faculty, administrators and non-profit staffs to
assure quality program implementation
Qualifications: Minimum one year exp. as student leader in campus service
program or service corp.; exp. writing articles and/or presenting workshops
on service related topics; demonstrated ability to work with students,
faculty and administrators; strong communication and organizational skills;
Computer Literate.
Salary: low 20's + benefits
