John,
I coordinate service projects for 5 colleges in Reading, PA, one of which
is a Catholic college. Alvernia College requires students to perform 40
hours of community service in order to graduate. The office of community
service and campus ministries both help by providing regular
opportunities with agencies whose mission and programs are complimentary
to Alvernia's.
Hope this helps!
