Title: Re: great quotes
I'm sure this has already been sent but it is my mantra.  So, in case it hasn't:

Never doubt that a small group of thoughful, committed citzens can change the world.  Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

Please excuse the shameless self motivation, but I recommend that you check out a compilation of quotes that a colleague, Simon Priest, and I put together, that focuses on experiential learning, challenges, motivation, and adventure.  It is called Experiential Quotes and it is available from Learning Unlimited (www.learningunlimited.com) as well as Amazon.

If you could list the top three great quotes that you use for motivating and challenging students,  what are they? I'm in the process of designing a poster that we'll give out to students during the first week of school as a attention-grabber for getting connected to service. I have some of my own favorites but would like to tap the resources of the list-serv to see what others might identify.

Thanks in advance. If you'd like to respond to me privately, I'll compile and send out to the list.
